Scott will go over- The hardware- basic installation and set up- what the Raspberry Pi is and what it is not- and last but not least Demos!!

Learn more about Raspberry Pi at http://www.raspberrypi.org

This is the last meeting at Mindex’ headquarters, as we should be back at RIT starting in October.  Thanks go to Jake Brandt for arranging the meetings at his employer, Mindex, and thanks to Tom Kolankiewicz for coordinating the RIT space.

Do your kids enjoy playing games on their computer or handheld devices?

Attend a one day workshop dedicated to introducing kids ages 10-16 and their parents/guardians to the joy of creating games.   You don’t even have to know how to program!

This one day workshop will introduce students to Scirra’s Construct2 (http://www.scirra.com), a free, powerful tool used to create games with little to no programming.

Lunch will be provided and attendees will be required to bring a Windows 7 or
Windows 8 laptop with the Construct2 software already installed.

Each student aged 10 to 16 must be accompanied by a parent / guardian throughout the entire workshop.

It’s free, and attendance is limited to 12 kids, so please only register if you are sure you and your child will attend.
