Our JUNE meeting will be on June 3rd from 6pm to 8:30pm. We are BACK AT RIT! Please RSVP so we can order enough food.
Our own AppRochesterian Jake Brandt, of Mindex, will be presenting TypeScript, a superset of Javascript that runs on any browser and adds type safety and enforces design patterns that are often neglected during client-side development. He will dive into a practical example where he implemented LINQ in TypeScript/Javascript and will then expand that to a quick preview of his implementation of LINQ-to-SQL for Node.js, a cross-platform Javascript-based scripting and server environment.
Also on the meeting agenda is a presentation by another AppRochesterian, Tom Kolankiewicz, who recently attended the Android Developer Conference in Boston (May 27th through May 30th). Tom will share some highlights of the conference.
