Tom Kolankiewicz ,, and Stephen Lambardo,, will be presenting in-person and remotely on SQLCipher* and Mobile Device security. Steve will start off with an overview of mobile device security threats and the challenges facing developers today, and explain why security should be a critical focus for all new and existing applications.

In addition to discussing how SQLCipher works, the session will provide a high-level overview on how to use SQLCipher with various development tools.
Tom will conclude the presentation and share learnings from a recent android project in which he used both SQLCipher to encrypt a device-resident SQLite** database, and, ProGuard to obfuscate the android source code.
