AppRochester April Monthly Meeting – How to create apps for Watches running Android Wear

Our APRIL meeting will be April 7th from 6pm to 8:30pm at RIT!  Please RSVP at Nextplex so we can order enough food. Our own Daniel Sostre will be speaking on developing apps for Android Wear! The Apple Watch may be getting a lot of publicity, but there are a lot more shapes, sizes and options for Android watches so this will be interesting.  (In May, Paul Solt may speak about developing Apple Watch apps, too! We should have Apple Watches for show & tell by then!)

Daniel will cover:

  • Different watch models
  • Differences between Android wear and Samsung’s Tizen versions
  • Development concepts in regards to data synchronization
  • Marketing and App ideas

The event is sponsored by IBM’s Enterprise Apps division and our own Phil Sacchitella.
