Our MARCH meeting will be March 7th from 6pm to 8:30pm at RIT! Please RSVP so we can order enough food. Peter Traeg will discuss AMP – Accelerated Mobile Pages. This is an open source project spearheaded by Google to greatly speed up the way web pages load on mobile devices. AMP pages are integrated in Google Search and Twitter so that these faster loading pages are presented on mobile devices. For some use cases the high performance of these AMP pages may make them an viable alternative to a typical mobile app.
